Melbourne offers a comprehensive range of accommodation tailored to suit individual needs, and rooms have been reserved at special Congress rates. Bookings are to be made on the registration form provided on this site or on the form in hard copy brochure you may receive by post.

Rates quoted are for the room per day and delegates can reduce costs by sharing. This would halve the quoted room rate if for example two delegates shared the room. Sharing arrangements are to be organized by delegates. The Congress Office does not offer this service.

Delegates who wish to book accommodation at any of the listed hotels must complete the appropriate section of the Registration Form. The Congress Secretariat cannot accept accommodation bookings after 6 June 2003. Delegates will need to make their own accommodation arrangements after this date. The special Congress rates quoted below cannot be guaranteed when delegates are making their own booking.

A deposit of one nights tariff per room is required to secure a hotel accommodation booking. The accommodation payment must accompany the registration form. No accommodation booking will be accepted unless accompanied by appropriate payment. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned on checkout.

Any change to a reservation must be forwarded in writing to the Congress Secretariat, not directly to the accommodation venue.

Unless notification of accommodation cancellation is received in writing thirty days prior to the booking commencement date, the accommodation deposit will be forfeited in all instances.

The standard check in time at hotels is 1:00pm onwards. If a room is required prior to this time, the Congress Secretariat should be advised. Hotels may otherwise charge an additional day's fee.
