The Genetics Congress staged an exhibit at the recent Molecular Biology Society of Japan Conference held in Yokohama, Japan. 8000 delegates attended this outstanding conference.

The Genetics Congress mounted an exhibit at the recent Plant and Animal Genome Conference in San Diego, California.

On Thursday January 23 a Congress Launch was held at the Genome Institute of Singapore.

On Monday January 20 a Congress Launch was held at the Australia House in London. The launch was sponsored by SCIENCE and hosted by the International Managing Editor for the journal, Dr. Andrew Sugden. Antony Barrington-Brown, who took the iconic image of Watson and Crick with their DNA model in 1953 was the special guest speaker at the launch.
