Travel to the north at a leisurely pace to the Cope-Williams
Winery at Romsey. The quaint cricket oval and pavilion, protected
by cypress trees present a setting unlike any other and the
wines, especially their sparkling Romsey Brut complement the
surroundings beautifully. A genuinely warm welcome is extended
here. A short drive away is the Glen Erin Grange Winery at
Lancefield. Nestled in the foothills of the Macedon Ranges
the setting is one of serenity. The Grange Restaurant offers
a rustic feel with exposed Oregon beams and feature timber
walls, an ideal backdrop for the country gourmet cuisine that
is served.
After lunch travel to the short distance to the Hanging Rock
Winery. A prolific producer of wine with grapes sourced from
numerous regions the wide range offers something for all.
The final winery to be visited would be the Mt Macedon Winery.
Tucked away on the edge of the State Forest, this is one of
the most idyllic settings in the district and a delightful
place to conclude the tour.
Cost: $88.00 per person, based on a minimum of 30 people.
