This year the Genetics Society of Australasia Dinner will be sponsored by and held at the Australian Museum.

The Foyer of the Australian Museum is the best known part of the original Museum building. Built in 1868, this part of the Museum retains much of its original finish. High windows surround a spacious café area, and square columns support a high colonial-style ceiling. The famous sperm whale skeleton hangs in the roof-space.
