Transport

Air: The main Campus of the University of Sydney is located 15km north of the Sydney-Airport (Kingsford-Smith). To get to the University either take a taxi (approximately $35) or a train to Central and either catch a bus, or change trains to Redfern and walk.

Train: You can get a train to Redfern train station, and then walk to the Camperdown Campus (head to Abercrombie Street and then up Codrington Street, 25 minutes at a fast pace).

Bus: Alternatively, you can take a bus to the University. Many buses leave from the Central Business District, go to Railway Square (Central Railway Station), and then continue to the University (check with the bus driver).
Some go along the
City Road side of the Camperdown campus (closest to Darlington Campus). Other buses run alongside the Parramatta Road side of the campus, past the Footbridge Theatre (closest to the Main Quadrangle).

Car: Parking within the university confines is extremely expensive ($24 per day and it has to be in coins). There is a carpark at St Johns College have an early bird special of $8.00 per day before 9.30am and out after 3.30pm. This car park closes at 9pm.
